Dear Graduate School Recruiter:
We are excited about the Southwestern Regional Meeting of the American Chemical Society (SWRM18) that will be held November 7-10, 2018 at the Little Rock Marriott in Little Rock, Arkansas. Members of the planning committee have been working for several months to ensure that this meeting will be organized, well attended, and profitable for all participants. Of special interest to you will be the hundreds of undergraduate students attending this meeting to present research via poster and oral sessions as part of the Undergraduate Research Symposium held on Thursday and Friday of the conference.
These meetings are great opportunities for graduate schools to recruit students. As the planners of the Undergraduate Research Symposium, we would like to invite you to reserve an academic booth at SWRM18 to promote your department to the attendees. The Graduate School EXPO tables will be located directly across from the room for the Undergraduate Oral Sessions to maximize your exposure to students.
1. A 6’ draped table, two chairs (Electricity is available for a fee upon request.
2. Graduate School Breakfast on Friday from 7:30-9:00 AM: A breakfast buffet, free for undergraduate students and located outside the undergraduate meeting room. We will have tables set up where recruiters can talk to students informally and students can move from table to table.
3. One full meeting registration with access to all scientific presentations.
The deadline for your application to participate in the Graduate School EXPO and Breakfast is August 1, 2018 for the $500 rate. After that, the rate will be $600. We are working hard to have between 500 and 1000 registered attendees from Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Louisiana as well as other surrounding states. We are excited about this event and hope to see you there. We look forward to hearing from you!
