Things to do in OKC

"Less than a mile from the Omni OKC, is one of my favorite museums, the American Banjo Museum. Here you can explore the history of this iconic instrument, view a dazzling collection of various types of banjos, and even try out a banjo yourself."

"Directly across from the conference hotel is a great space to walk and stretch your legs.  Scissortail Park is a beautiful space with gardens and water features.  When a friend was staying in OKC, I recommended the Scissortail.  Her toddler just LOVED the splash park!"

 "Two blocks north of the Omni Hotel, the Myriad Gardens is a public garden and park. In the center of the gardens is the Crystal Bridge, a tropical botanical garden that was just renovated in 2022. Beautiful, peaceful place to take a break from the conference.  Admission charge. "

"Kaisers Grateful Bean Cafe is an old fashioned ice cream parlor and soda fountain.  It is located in midtown, about 2 miles from the Omni.  The ice cream is homemade and the historic photos and building really give you the flavor of Oklahoma City."
